The free waste app for the Barnim district provides comprehensive information regarding waste and disposal. It reliably reminds users of collection dates and can be set up effortlessly:

1. Enter your location and street
2. Select the type of recyclable material
3. Set a reminder time. Done!

ALL APPOINTMENTS IN ONE LIST:

The "Appointments" menu displays the collection schedule for the current month, with options to navigate forward and backward month by month. Past collection dates are shown in gray.

MULTIPLE REMINDERS:

In the "Settings" menu, users can create multiple reminders for each type of waste. This feature is particularly useful when preparation is needed for certain collections, such as yellow bags or hazardous waste.

MULTIPLE ADDRESSES:

Additional addresses can be easily added in the settings, accommodating various locations such as:

• Your own residence
• Your grandparents' home
• A vacation apartment
• Office or company address
• Community center

LOCATION SEARCH AND GPS NAVIGATION:

This ensures timely arrivals at the correct locations. Sites are marked on a map with pins, and detailed information about a location can be accessed by tapping on the pin. When hours of operation are provided, the pin’s color indicates availability, allowing users to start navigation to the site.

SEND MESSAGES:

The app enables users to send messages concerning their inquiries directly to the administration.

WASTE ABC:

The Waste ABC functions as a practical encyclopedia. It offers information on disposal methods for all types of waste. Users can scroll through lists or utilize a convenient search function to access detailed information directly.
